Example of Focus Group Gone Wrong

If you watched the Oscars this year you may have seen the faux focus group.  It is a very funny example of how a focus group can devolve and produce no value whatsoever.  It serves to remind us of how important it is to carefully screen and recruit group respondents, properly qualifying them so you can achieve your research objectives.  It also illustrates the need for the Moderator to exert control over the focus group at times to insure a productive result.
